SG Campus: This afternoon, there was a routine Shelter-In-Place at SGHS while K9 units did a typical sweep of the school & the parking lot. Reminder: Shelter in Place is used to keep students secure in their current location, & is initiated for a variety of reasons. There does not have to be an emergency for Shelter in Place to be enacted. Thank you, & have a great weekend!

On Sunday, April 14th SGMS Band and Fundamentals of Music students traveled to the Stifel Theatre in St. Louis to attend the St. Louis Symphony Orchestra's performance of Star Wars: The Last Jedi. The orchestra performed composer John Williams' original score live as the movie played on a giant screen suspended above the stage.

Middle School's Grade Level Assessment (aka MAP) Testing begins April 15 with 8th graders taking Science. The following week, all students will begin testing in English/Language Arts, and Mathematics will conclude this year's testing session the week of April 29. Please communicate with your students the importance of these tests and encourage them to give their full effort! Thank you for your support!
