Both scholarship contests recognize young artists and encourage patriotism in youth. Entries are judged on originality of concept, presentation and patriotism expressed, content of how it relates to patriotism and clarity of ideas, design techniques, and the total impact of work. Congratulations to these students on their recognition.
All four students are under the instruction of art teacher Jamie Bauman at Ste. Genevieve High School. Each of the students received a cash prize, and for her two first-place entries, Mallory Rottler will advance to the state-level competition!
