On Thursday, Jan. 23, Ste. Genevieve High School senior Karlie Basler signed a national letter of intent to compete on the golf team at Illinois College. Karlie is the daughter of Eric and Julie Basler.
In attendance were her parents; her brother, Nate; her teammates and friends Gracie Ladd, Allison Loudenback, Eleanor McKlin, and Linley Wehner; and friends Mariah Abt, Kale Clements, Heidi Schmelzle, Chloe Staffen, and Rika Windoffer. SGHS Head Girls Golf Coach Rachel McDaniel, SGHS Assistant Girls Golf Coach Ryan Mueller, and SG R-II Athletic Director Dr. Jeff Nix also attended to show their support. Congratulations, Karlie!
