Congratulations to senior Ashley Armstrong, the Rotary Student of the Month for November from Ste. Genevieve High School! Ashley is the daughter of Larry and Linda Armstrong.
Ashley's Scholastic Honors include: Being ranked in the top 15% of her graduating senior class, earning A Honor Roll each semester, and being a member of National Honor Society, mentors, Future Business Leaders of America and Future Teachers of America.
Ashley is involved in Spanish Club, where she holds the office of treasurer, and she is also the senior class treasurer. Her interactions at SGHS have given her an opportunity to lead others and complete many community service activities. Ashley is also active in the FRIENDS program that focuses on efforts of inclusion for all students. She is a leader by example and has numerous positive interactions with students.
Ashley has received many academic accolades at SGHS. She has won the Creative Writing award and the Business Technology award at the Dan Clark Honors Banquet. She has competed at numerous FBLA competitions and has placed in the top 8 in Cyber Security and Economics. In her free time, Ashley enjoys spending time with family, shopping with friends and hunting with her dad. She plans to attend Southeast Missouri State University and major in Special Education with a minor in Communications Disorders.
